Alumni Spotlight: Eve Stewart
Meet Eve Stewart, former ISA student and rowing Olympic medalist who represented Great Britain at the Paris Olympics. Eve started her education at ISA from 2001-2006 attending Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1 and 2.
After pursuing her double bachelor’s in English and Creative Writing, and Mass Communication at the University of Ohio, Eve joined a local rowing club along the Amsterdam canals and grew to the point of representing the Netherlands in the international rowing scene. From there, she moved on to represent her homeland and participated in the Paris Olympics in the summer of 2024 in the women’s coxed 8 rowing. Eve and her team took home the bronze medal.
Eve is an exceptional example of what it means to have international understanding. Through her discipline, sportsmanship and vision, she carries the value of what ISA stands for. Our alumni are the heart of our legacy. They are leaders, innovators, and changemakers, carrying the spirit of ISA wherever they go and making a positive impact in countless ways.
The ISA Alumni Spotlight series aims to showcase the journeys of individuals in our student, teacher and parent alumni communities. We ask them to reflect on how ISA made an impact on their life, and to share their advice on how to carry the mission of international understanding.
