Athletics Season Round Up
Last weekend, the outstanding ISA swim team athletes competed in their final NECIS tournament, returning with remarkable achievements, personal bests, medals, and even NECIS records. More importantly, they came back with unforgettable experiences and memories. Congratulations to all swimmers and coaches for an amazing swim season!
On Monday, the Bear Council hosted a fun End of Season celebration, bringing together all our winter sports teams. With a quiz, slideshows, and some great snacks and drinks, the athletes had a chance to relax and reflect on the season. Special thanks to the Booster Club for supporting and sponsoring the celebration once again.
Thursday saw the annual Teachers-Students Basketball game, organised by the Student Council and Bear Council. It was a joy to watch both teams compete and to hear the enthusiastic cheers from the crowd. The game ended in a tie—a fitting result for a game built on community and fun!
During halftime, our seniors were recognised for their achievements and longstanding commitment to ISA Athletics. While some have been part of the programme for just a year or two, many have participated in multiple sports since Grade 5, balancing academic demands with dedication to their teams. Their ability to manage it all reflects their resilience and determination.
To commemorate their time at ISA, each senior received a small token of appreciation. Their legacy of commitment and sportsmanship will leave a lasting impact on the ISA community.
Once a Bear, always a Bear!
