We are delighted to celebrate the success of ISA students at the International School of the Hague’s annual Model United Nations Conference (MUNISH). Last weekend, 48 ISA students in grades 8-12 took part in the conference, one of the biggest in the Netherlands, with 25 schools attending and over 600 student participants in total.
Our school, which had the biggest delegation at the conference, was singled out for the level of preparation and engagement of all of our students who led the direction of the debates within their committees. This engagement translated into ISA students being recognised in the awards ceremony as well, with 7 of our students, Everett Smith (G12), Daniel Khan (G12), Jemma McLean (G11), Louis Conqueret (G10), Danielle Schwartz (G10), Elle Chassin (G9), and Alexandre Boudier (G9), winning one of the 15 “Best Delegate” distinctions awarded at the conference.
None of this would have been possible without the tireless dedication of our student Executive Council (ExCo) team of Jain Pacelli, Sen Reyn, Lucas Joosten, and Tanguy Lacroix, led by ExCo president Hugo Boudier, who worked to support especially our new participants in their preparations for the conference.
Congratulations to our dedicated ExCo and our fabulous MUNISH participants for their accomplishments and their commendable representation of our school at this event. We are so proud!
