Grade 12 students Isabel Rasmussen and Najya Gause both received a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, 34,000 students are being recognized for their ‘exceptional academic promise’, placing in the top 50,000 students who entered the 2022 competition through their participation in the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). The organisation states that ‘those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success.’ Mr. Schaffner and their counsellors Ms. Jetabut and Ms. Dietrich presented the students with their Letters of Commendation at lunchtime on Thursday.
