Over the summer, our school campus has undergone a series of significant improvements in alignment with ISA’s Long-Term Maintenance Plan (LTMP). We believe these improvements will enhance both the learning experience and the overall well-being of our community.
These upgrades include:
- Reconstruction of the drama tower
- Repair of the brick work on the theatre and front entrance of the campus
- Installation of new moss walls (vertical gardens)
- Landscaping and redesign of gardens
- New bike parking area
- Installing of overflow drainage in the Early Childhood playground
- Reconstruction of outdoor kitchen for EC area
- Refurbishment of the Theatre, Annex and Dance Studio floors
- Paint work for bike roads, car park markings and floor signage
- And much more…
Alex Hannam, Head of Facilities at ISA, shared about his favourite project: “We replaced 5 of the ageing plant walls with moss walls, which are amazing, they require zero maintenance and stay soft and lush from the moisture in the air. You can see these in the cafeteria and in the new building!”
Our investment in these physical enhancements is a testament to our commitment to providing an environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. A big thank you to our facilities team and student volunteers for all the work they did while students were on their summer break!
